Ten highest-paid actresses of 2006

As previously mentioned, Nicole Kidman topped this year’s list of the highest-paid actresses with her $17million check for The Invasion. Here are the next nine women rounding out the top 10.

Reese Witherspoon, Renee Zellweger, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz each scored $15mil paychecks for their movies.

Halle Berry made $14mil per movie, which is amazing considering she hasn’t made anything good in a while. Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie each made $10mil per picture. Last but not least are Kirsten Dunst and Jennifer Aniston, who both got paid $8mil per movie.

The Highest-paid Actress

In a special issue of The Hollywood Reporter coming out December 5th, a list of the 100 highest-paid women of 2006 will be published, and at the top of that list is Aussie actress Nicole Kidman, who snagged the highest single paycheck for her role in the upcoming movie The Invasion at a cool $17million. In the interested of objectivity, I thought I’d post some not-so-flattering photos of Kylie Minogue. At first (at a smaller size) I thought she looked pretty hot but when I enlarged them, it seemed to me like these are raw photos, before they get Photoshopped for publication!

Another babe back on the market

Well, it was bound to happen. Less than a month since she announced her miscarriage and less than 4 since she announced she was married, Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock have filed for divorce. A few rumors are going around that it was triggered by her appearance in the movie Borat, but if that’s really true, then Kid Rock really IS and dumb redneck hillbilly.

So it looks like Pamela Anderson’s two marriages to Kid Rock were all for nothing.

Big month for Ellen

November has proven a great month for Ellen Pompeo. She has gotten engaged, her TV show Grey’s Anatomy has been picked up for syndication, and her named is mentioned in the DVD extras for the newly released Clerks II movie. Apparently she was offered the role that eventually went to Rosario Dawson.

Personally, I’m glad it did, Rosario Dawson is far sexier than Ellen Pompeo. Sorry, but I had to say that!
