Anna Nicole Smith dead at 39
It has been announced that former Playboy and Guess model Anna Nicole Smith collapsed and died at a hotel in Florida today. It’s still too early to tell what led to her premature death.
Anna Nicole’s death comes at an odd time in her life as she was still in the middle of a wild inheritance lawsuit, plus another lawsuit by Larry Birkhead, who claimed he was the real father of Anna Nicole’s newborn baby and not Anna Nicole’s boyfriend (and former lawyer) Howard K. Stern.
Given all that plus the death of her first son at the time of her daughter’s birth, I wouldn’t be surprised if the cause of death is linked to some form of anti-depressant she may have taken to deal with stress; which would be ironic given that anti-depressants were the cause of her son’s death.
Update: Fox News is reporting that Howard K. Stern is under investigation regarding Anna Nicole Smith’s son’s death; a witness claims that Stern gave Daniel the methadone found in his system during autopsy and that when Daniel died, Stern tried to flush the remaining pills into a toilet.
NinjaDude is also drawing up the probable theory that Anna Nicole’s death is in fact a suicide. Given all of the above, it’s not a far-fetched idea.
Anna Nicole was a rollercoaster ride but anyone with a heart could tell she was always hurting inside. I am sadden that she could not get it together but also happy that finally she is going to have peace that ultimatly every human dealing with drug, alcohol,death and depression are seeking. May she rest in peace. I hope some where in all of her pain and drama she knew that some of us loved her!!
