It seems like the hip thing to do nowadays if your career needs a big boost; using a co-performer on the new album that’s making some artists land at the top of the charts. Nelly Furtado did it with Timbaland, Justim Timberlake did it with Timbaland, The Pussycat Dolls did it with Timbaland…
And now Ashlee Simpson will do it with… nope, not Timbaland… Robert Smith of The Cure. Or at least, she hopes so.
