As outsiders to the inner workings of celebritydom, few of us actually realize how hard it is to handle celebrities (I’ve been watching a lot of Entourage lately, so I can maybe imagine :D ). These last few weeks, however, I’m sure no one’s had it worse than Britney Spear’s two publicists who’ve bailed on her over the last 3 months.

Starpulse is reporting that Britney Spears lost her own publicist back in October and that since then, she had been pseudo-adopted by the publicist for Jive Records, who produces Britney’s music. That publicist has just announced that she’s jumping ship to start her own PR firm, but she was quick to say that it wasn’t Britney that made her quit.

While this may very well be true (I actually think so), this must have been heaven-sent for the publicist. What a perfect excuse to tell your employer you won’t take anymore crap!
