Keira Knightley’s Oscar dress auctioned off
When celebrities auction off stuff for a charity, especially clothing, it makes me wonder two things: 1) why don’t they just donate their own cash instead of making some sucker pay for a piece of clothing the celebrity probably didn’t even pay for?? The celebrities could afford so much more than what the auction’s winner could.
And 2) are said celebrities aware that there’s a really good chance the winner of the auction is some sicko who’ll do something… sick… with said clothing.
On a brighter note, the dress Keira Knightley wore to the Oscars was auctioned off for less than $8,000.
I’d pay $1 for the dress and a bit more for Knightly ;)
